Does exactly what it says on the tin. Reproduces the WC very well. Good options at the start (you can play the entire qulaiifying campaign, just the WC etc and nice combinations of all of them).
Game play - it's FIFA 2010 with a few minor tweaks. Plays well.
WC2010 is a perfect fix for any football fan wanting to play with the national teams and the WC tournament. An excellently executed game I have to say.

Won the world cup last night. Nice celebration cut scene. Felt like I wanted something more than just being taken back to the main mnu screen and having to 'quit' the tournament.
ReplyDeleteThe game falls into the same problem as all football games being played in SP. You get used to the mechanics of a match and you begin to make the same moves over and again leading to an empty feeling when you eventually win as it reminds you that it's a game against AI who have depth - but not that much depth.
On a side note - check out the world map - really cool. You can move the globe around, select any nation and find out info about them in relation to the world cup - very nice.
